Event Info & FAQ’s

The 2023 Ottawa 2 Rivers Wine Fest will take place June 2, 3 & 4 at the Jordan Block Park 101 W. Main St. Ottawa, Illinois. Friday 5p-9p, Saturday 12p-9p & Sunday 12p-5p.

This is a 21 & over event managed and coordinated by Floret Events LLC in partnership with the City of Ottawa.

Q: Do I need a ticket for this event? 
A: Yes, every attendee is required to purchase a general admission ticket. 

Q: What is included with the price of a general admission ticket?                                                     
 A: Each general admission ticket includes entry into the event, live music throughout the weekend and access to the wine tasting area. Wristbands are required to be worn securely on your wrist. Wine, Beer & Spirits tasting tickets can be purchased in addition to the general admission ticket. 
All liquor is poured, served and sold in compliance with the Illinois General Assembly statue 235 ILCS5/, Liquor Control Act of 1934.

Q: Where can I buy tickets? 
A: Tickets can be bought online on our website at www.ottawawinefest.com or if available in person at the ticket tent during the event. Tickets for this event are NOT sold on any other site or thru any other company/person.

Q: Can I share my ticket/wristband with others? 
A: No. Torn, damaged & cut wrist bands will not be honored. Lost bands will not be replaced. 

Q: Can I buy more tasting tickets?                                                                        A: Yes! Additional tasting tickets can be purchased in the tasting area. 

Q: Can I bring someone under 21? 
A: Yes, you can but only ticketed attendees 21 and over are permitting in the tasting area. A valid state ID is required for ticket purchases. 

Q: How many ounces is each tasting?                                                                  A: In compliance with the Illinois Liquor Control Commision Sampling & Tasting Standards all products may be tasted in the following amounts: Distilled Spirits 1/4 oz., Wine 1 oz., and Beer 2 oz.

Q: What are the hours?  
A: TBD 

Q: Will the event be open rain or shine? 
A: Yes! We will be open rain or shine. 

Q: Can I bring my pet? 
A: We love our fuzzy friends but this time we’re asking you to leave all pets at home. Service dogs are welcome. 

Q: Can I bring my own food? 
A: Please support our fantastic vendors so we are able to continue to host this event. 

Q: Can I bring my own alcoholic drinks?                                                              A: No, absolutley no outside alcohol is permitted at this event. 

Q: If I buy tickets now and decide I can’t make it, can I get a refund? 
A: All ticket sales are final. No refunds will be given. 

Q: Can I bring my pop up tent, beach umbrella or other shade item? A: We do not allow any type of umbrella, tent, etc… to be set up. We will have umbrellas throughout the park. 

Q: Will there be chairs and seating? 
A: Picnic tables with umbrellas will be available on the Jordan Block but we do recommend bringing your own chairs as tables fill up quickly. 

Q: Can I come all 3 days with one ticket wristband?
A: Yes! Please note that vendors are only allowed to pour into official event glasses. If you visit more than one day, please bring your clean glass.

Q: Will the vendors accept credit cards?                                                                A: Most vendors will accept credit cards but some do not. ATM's can be found at several local banks within walking distance of the event.

Q: Will there be food available?                                                                            A: Yes! We have several options for on site dining and snacking. 

Q: Will there be lobster?                                                                                          A: The Ottawa Noon Rotary has chosen to no longer serve lobster for this event. 

Please note: smoking is only permitted in designated areas.
